If you are looking for some awesome, knowledgeable people to work with, these are the guys I highly recommend. Their friendliness and result-driven approach is what I love about them.

This program is pure golden.

If you are part of the Transportation Industry, you understand the challenges to keep your drivers safe by continually training them so that safe driving practices are foremost in their minds as they go about their daily routines.

Driver shortages (or “perceived” driver shortages) have driven companies to shorten, and even eliminate (ill-advised) driver training to get them into the driver’s seat as quickly as possible. Ongoing training has virtually disappeared because of the difficulties of scheduling classes for drivers to attend.

TBL Group Inc., operating as Echo Transportation and AFC Transportation, recognized the above-mentioned challenges and decided to look for training programs that would help us do a better job of training drivers, as new hires, and to give them ongoing coaching and training to keep their skills sharp. Our goal is to reduce or eliminate preventable accidents and maintain good SMS scores. We take our tag line seriously, People Powered…Safety Driven. Therefore, we are always looking for ways to improve safety performance.

Safety Sat was introduced at Echo Transportation about 14 months ago specifically for post-accident training. Because of its success, the decision was made to implement it as an ongoing monthly training tool.

Having seen the difference the training is making at Echo, we rolled out the Post-accident and Monthly Training Programs at the AFC location in Q2 of this year. We are accumulating data to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and we fully expect to see positive results from this new Training Program.
